Dr. Davis is a Baltimore native who at a very young age understood that she possessed a passion for helping others via healthcare delivery. After graduating from Western High School, she pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Towson University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree in International Business and Healthcare from a dual program at the University of Baltimore and Towson University. Later, she furthered her clinical studies by pursuing the nursing track for obtaining associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing at the Community College of Baltimore County Essex and Frostburg University. Being passionate about education, she continued her academic career by completing a Master of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of South Alabama.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Davis pursued a 17-year-long career as a Neurophysiologist. In broadening her clinical expertise by pursuing a career as a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Davis has gained experience working with patients of all ages within underserved geriatric, adolescent, and pediatric populations who have a multitude of illnesses. As a patient advocate, she is committed to partnering with patients to develop holistic approaches that meet their health care needs. She is driven to improve quality of care and patient outcomes that help patients reach their goals and achieve overall wellness.
Dr. Davis thrives in working in diverse environments, noting her strengths in cultural differences and the impact of culture on care. She has a great interest in culture which has extended her love for learning to adopting learning languages as a hobby. She is learning several languages but is fluent in Spanish.
Despite her academic accomplishments, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her family and takes pride in her son being her greatest accomplishment.
