Shanekia Cole was born in Bossier City, LA, the second of three girls into a military family. Her father’s career led her family to Fort Worth, TX where she attended middle and high school. She graduated from Eastern Hills High School and was awarded an ROTC Nursing Scholarship. She then went on to attend Prairie View A&M University majoring in nursing.
Breonna Harris was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Morgan State University in May 2018 with her Bachelor’s degree in May 2018. Breonna is currently enrolled in Morgan’s Graduate program, pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in Urban Children Youth and Families. She started her journey at Leading by Example as an Undergrad BSW intern in the PRP program in 2017.
Tawni Kuhling is a Rehabilitation Service Manager for the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services program at Leading by Example. She graduated from Frostburg State University in 2007 and has been in the Human Services field for 9 years. She started her passion for helping families and communities while living in San Diego, California, where she lived for 6 years after college. Now back in her home state of Maryland she is excited to be a part of the LBE family to share her passion with such an amazing team. In her free time she enjoys traveling, the beach, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Mr. Subramonianpillai Teal is a native Baltimorean who grew up in East Baltimore City. Mr. Teal graduated from Southern High School. Upon completing High School Mr. Teal endeavored to be the first college graduate in the history of his family. In pursuit of that dream, Mr. Teal left Baltimore City to attend the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).
Mr. Fielding has been working in the human service field for over 20 years. He is a Baltimore native and a product of the Baltimore City Public School System. Mr. Fielding attended Morgan State University where he declared a major in social work because it connected him to his passion for helping others. Mr. Fielding attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Morgan State University in 2003.
