Alisha is a dedicated HR professional with a passion for serving the community. She started her human services journey in 2013 where she worked with children with autism. In 2015, she migrated to working in the HR department at a community behavioral mental health facility. In January 2023, Alisha joined the LBE team as the HR Manager.
With several years of experience in this field, Alisha is well-versed in various HR functions such as recruitment, training, and employee relations.
Alisha obtained her SHRM-CP certification in June 2021, demonstrating her expertise in HR practices and commitment to continuous learning. She has an ongoing interest in community behavioral mental health, advocating for accessible and quality services for underserved populations.
When Alisha is not working, she enjoys traveling to attend concerts, indulging her passion for music. She is the second oldest of four sisters and was born and raised in Harford County, Maryland. She volunteers for AARF (Animal Allies Rescue Foundation) and has a 13 year old rescue cat named RJ. Her upbringing has instilled in her a sense of community and a desire to give back.
