Monica is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland with over 25 years of experience in the provision of mental health, supervision, and program management services in Maryland for various programs.
As the PRP Program Director, I bring a deep commitment to compassionate, client-centered care and a holistic, intuitive approach that honors each person’s unique journey toward healing. My practice is grounded in empathy, honesty, and cultural humility, offering a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients and staff members can process experiences, build self-acceptance, and work through challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I have extensive experience in supervising mental health interns and licensed therapists, supporting their clinical growth through thoughtful guidance, reflective practice, and trauma-informed frameworks. My leadership includes the development, implementation, and management of mental health programs and facilities, where I have created structured environments that emphasize clinical integrity, staff development, and meaningful client outcomes.
Whether working one-on-one with clients or building systems of support for professionals, I bring a steady, grounded presence and a collaborative spirit to every aspect of my work. Together, we co-create healing spaces rooted in respect, insight, and transformation.
