The Community Behavioral Health Association of Maryland brought together over 100 members for the Annual Member Meeting; a day of learning, connection, and celebrating the incredible people driving behavioral health forward in Maryland. 

Founded in 1984, the Community Behavioral Health Association (CBH) of Maryland is the professional association for Maryland’s public community behavioral health providers – including both mental health and addiction treatment services. CBH supports members through advocacy at the legislative, executive, and grassroots level.

Leading By Example is a strong supporter of CBH’s vision as a high-quality system of public behavioral health care for individuals and families in Maryland. Leading By Example’s Co-Founder, Johnnie Fielding, has long supported the mission of the Community Behavioral Health Association, most recently as Board President in FY2026.
