Born and raised in Harford County, Maryland, Danielle Kirksey, LMSW, has always had a deep passion for helping others. Before beginning her career in social work, Danielle gained years of experience in a variety of service-oriented roles, where she developed a strong sense of empathy, patience, and understanding. In 2018, Danielle moved to New York to pursue her master’s in social work at Lehman College in the Bronx. During her seven years in New York, she worked closely with criminally impacted youth and unhoused families, providing compassionate support and empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges and build toward stability.
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Danielle believes in meeting people exactly where they are and walking alongside them as they grow into where they want to be. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in respect, collaboration, and genuine care for each person’s individual journey.
Outside of her work, Danielle enjoys reading, singing karaoke, and spending quality time with family and friends.
