Hello. Welcome to Therapy! Whether you have engaged in Therapy in the past, or you are just getting started, I admire your courage and your willingness to be here.
I consider it a privilege to work with you, to offer you my complete attention, a collaborative partner who hears you and can compassionately and objectively guide you in your process of becoming someone you love, accept, and are kind to.
I hope that the honest, genuine, and non-judgemental communication in our therapeutic relationship will help you heal from old or new wounds, will help you grow beyond the places where you may feel “stuck” in your life, and will help you with other concerns or feelings that you believe are getting in the way of being happy with yourself, having good relationships with others, or making progress in your life.
I have worked therapeutically with people for the past 14 years who were struggling with Substance Use Disorders, or symptoms of Anxiety,
Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, and many other concerns.
I am an “older” Therapist with young thinking and have had many life experiences that have helped me become more authentic, empathic, and willing to engage with you as we work together in your healing process.
We will use many different approaches and techniques, including some that are experiential and creative, and I will encourage you to tell me what is helpful or not so helpful as you move forward.
I am looking forward to seeing you in session soon!
