After graduating from Muhlenberg College, I returned home and completed my graduate degree at the University of Baltimore. I spent the beginning of my career working in outpatient substance abuse specializing in working with men who had been arrested for a domestic assault. During that time, I also spent time working in Baltimore City Schools providing drug and alcohol counseling to the students. Before joining Leading By Example I spent the last 8 and a half years working as the director of an outpatient mental health clinic. I have experience and a passion for helping to build and grow new programs, and supervising and training providers. I have a strong passion for sports and music. As a therapist, I utilize existential exploration and understanding our own perspectives from a variety of viewpoints. I take a very client-centered, CBT, solution-focused approach when working with clients. In my spare time, I try to attend as much live music as I possibly can, and still try to exercise and play sports as often as I am able.
