Subramonianpillai Teal, LCSW-C

Mr. Subramonianpillai Teal is a native Baltimorean who grew up in East Baltimore City. Mr. Teal graduated from Southern High School. Upon completing High School Mr. Teal endeavored to be the first college graduate in the history of his family. In pursuit of that dream, Mr. Teal left Baltimore City to attend the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).

Johnnie Fielding, MSW

Mr. Fielding has been working in the human service field for over 20 years. He is a Baltimore native and a product of the Baltimore City Public School System. Mr. Fielding attended Morgan State University where he declared a major in social work because it connected him to his passion for helping others. Mr. Fielding attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Morgan State University in 2003.

Ena Marshall, BS

As one of six girls and the daughter of a Baltimore City Schools assistant principal and an entrepreneur, Ena J. Marshall is fiercely passionate about children and families. She is a graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelors of Arts in Media Communication Studies and a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish.

Ashley White, LGSW

Ashley K. White, LGSW, is a second time graduate from Morgan State University with a Master’s of Social Work. She achieved high accolades during her education at Morgan and became a member of Phi Alpha Honor Society. She has an admirable work ethic as demonstrated by her commitment and long tenure with LBE in several capacities.

Shakeisha Alexander, BS

Shakeisha Alexander was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She studied Social Work at Morgan State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2017.

Program Coordinator

D’Reece Samuel

D’Reece Samuel provides administrative oversight and management within the LBE environment. She is a part-time student at Community College of Baltimore County Essex and a full-time mother. She was born in the heart of New York City and raised in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania.

Chanona Brown, BS

Chanona Brown is a Baltimore native and achieved her Bachelor of Science Degree from Morgan State University in Family and Consumer Science. She has been working at Leading by Example since 2011 in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program providing direct care to our adult clients and families.

Quality Assurance Coordinator/Program Development Coordinator

Mary Rimi, MS, LGPC, NCC

Mary is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, and serves as LBE’s Program Development Manager and Quality Assurance Coordinator. She received her Master of Science degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

Rehabilitation Specialist

Ashley Fadiora, LCSW-C

Ashley Fadiora is a Baltimore based clinician who encompasses her urban upbringing, love for people, love of culture and formal education in both her personal and professional lives. She has 10 years of experience working with children and families.

Rehabilitation Specialist/Clinical Supervisor

Shatara Gatling, LGSW

Shatara Gatling graduated with her Masters of Social Work from Springfield College in Springfield, MA in May 2011. She has been serving the community since 2007 working with high risk first time parents in an infant and toddler program; legal aid services at NHLA; community mental health services with young and older adults.

Stephanie L. Carlyle

Stephanie L. Carlyle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and the Clinical Supervisor of the Harford County PRP and TBS Programs. She graduated from Chestnut Hill College (Philadelphia) in 2013 with her Masters in Clinical and Counseling Psychology.

Breonna Harris

Breonna Harris was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Morgan State University in May 2018 with her Bachelor’s degree in May 2018. Breonna is currently enrolled in Morgan’s Graduate program, pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in Urban Children Youth and Families. She started her journey at Leading by Example as an Undergrad BSW intern in the PRP program in 2017.
